Sony WH 1000XM4 vs XM3

The difference between Sony WH 1000XM4 and Sony WH 1000XM3 headphones is very tough. They come in the same black and silver colour option. However, there are some improvements in design, comfort, and new chip to improve active noise cancellation.

The XM4 are more comfortable to wear; they are soft and larger than XM3. The XM3 uses DSEE HX tech to analyze and enhance MP3 whereas XM4 uses Edge AI technology to better assess the parts of a track.

Also, the multi-points connection has been added to the XM4 it supports Bluetooth 5.0 instead of Bluetooth 4.0 on the previous model. So overall they both have almost the same features, but there are some upgrades and enhancements available in Sony WH 1000XM4.

The outside of the earcups, you will find two control buttons for power and pairing and the button that cycle through noise-cancelling modes.
