Noise Shots X5 Pro Features Review

Noise Shots X5 Pro design

The Noise Shots X5 Pro features a unique case that’s slightly bigger than most earbuds since it packs an enormous battery. Total weight of the case with the earbuds is about 97.6 grams, albeit it packs a 2200mAh battery, and therefore the earbuds weigh about 5.4 grams.

The Shots X5 Pro goes for an equivalent design you’ve got seen within the Redmi EarBuds S.

The headset it’s made from plastic, it’s a matte finish on the surface and rubber finish on the within, which is sweet and doesn’t attract fingerprints.

The earbuds have LED lights that glow in white and red colours. There are touch controls on both the earbuds that allow you to play or pause music, attend previous or next song, launch voice assistant, control volume and also accept or reject calls, but you can’t turn it on. These controls are a touch different from some Noise headsets.

The earbuds suit your ears firmly and don’t fall off easily during workouts or maybe when running. It also features a small hook in rubber, so it fits your ears perfectly. Since it comes with IPX7 ratings, it can withstand sweat and lightweight rain.

The Shots X5 Pro doesn’t have the Apple AirPods like stalk-based design and that they completely slot in the ear. Wearing these earbuds is often a hassle for a few, but once it sits inside the ear, they don’t dislodge easily.

The buds also are great at passive blockage of external noise, courtesy of the planning. The ear hooks on top keep them secured even when there are tons fo vigorous head movement.

Noise Shots X5 Pro Battery Life

The case has a 2200mAh battery that promises 18 more charges or additional 30 hours of battery life, so you get a complete 150 hours of battery life, which is sweet. The corporate promises up to eight hours of battery life on one charge, and that we managed to urge over 7 hours of battery life on one charge when listening in about 70% volume, which is sweet.

The headset automatically turns off when it’s not in use for about 5 minutes and doesn’t have an influence off button, so you’ve got to stay the headset within the case and shut it.

It gives audio prompts to charge the headset when the headset has a low battery. Charging the headset takes about 1.5 hours, and charging the case from 0 to 100% takes about 2 hours using 5V-1A charger via USB Type-C port, which is roofed by a flap. There’s an LED indicator that glows in orange to shows the battery life within the case.

Audio Performance

The audio quality of those earbuds offers fairly good audio quality with an honest amount of bass. Since it packs 6mm graphene drivers and has aptX codec, you get good audio experience.

The Shots X5 Pro has an audio profile that appeals to most Indian users, i.e. many emphases on the low-end frequencies while keeping the vocals and mids clear.

The volume of the headset is sweet enough from 60 to 70%, but you would possibly need to increase the quantity beyond that if you’re in a crowded, noisy environment. Compared to Realme Buds Air, the Shots X5 Pro sound bassy and loud.

The earbuds offer a good amount of noise isolation, because of the rubber material on the within and therefore the tight ear hooks. Overall the audio quality is decent for the worth. We didn’t face any issues in connection or pairing.

When it involves call quality, the person on the opposite end was unable to listen to me clearly. This is often mostly a problem with the in-ear design.

Noise Shots X5 Pro Pairing

The Shots X5 Pro relies on Bluetooth 5.0, which translates into reliable connectivity with almost no interference from other wireless devices. It pairs to your phone quickly once you remove them from the case.

On the proper earphone, you hear ‘pairing’ and therefore the LED indicate flashes. The headset doesn’t have a companion app, but you’ll launch Siri on iOS and Google Assistant on Android devices once you touch and hold the proper or right earbuds for 4 seconds when no music is playing.

The Shots X5 Pro features touch-based controls. I even have always maintained that touch-based controls are easier to work on wireless earbuds.

The gestures are simple too — one tap to lay/pause, double-tap to skip tracks, long taps for cancelling calls or summoning the voice assistants. The controls are sensitive and easier to work while on the move.

Charging Case

The case may be a big and curvy plastic box with a soft-touch finish that not only feels good to carry but also prevents smudges. There’s a rubber flap hiding the ports.

The case has smooth rubber matte finish on the surface, so it doesn’t attract fingerprints or scratches easily, but dust is visible clearly since it’s black in colour. On the within it’s a plastic finish. Since the case may be a bit large, you can’t carry it in your pocket easily.

The Noise Shots X5 Pro is an excellent Bluetooth headset with good audio quality with Qualcomm aptX support and long battery life also as IPX7 ratings for water resistance reveals in the review.

The touch controls are a pleasant addition while the IPX7 rating ensures durability within the end of the day. Surely, at a price around Rs 4000, the Shots X5 Pro is slightly expensive in comparison to the Realme Buds Air, but once you consider all its features, it’s clear that the Shots X5 Pro has got to offer more.
