Anker Soundcore Life P2 Review

Advantage: As per the Anker Soundcore Life P2 Review it has a good sound for the price, much affordable, USB-C charging (7 hours of battery life), also good for making calls, very lightweight, fit is comfortable, has IPX7 water-resistance rating (waterproof)

Drawback: Case is little cheap, the sound is only decent, not great

Conclusion: The buds charge in a horizontal manner in their case rather than in a vertical way, and the case and the buds have a cheaper feel than the Liberty Air 2. Their sound does not have the presence boost in the treble that the Liberty Air 2 buds have, so they are not as clear-sounding with well-recorded tracks and the bass is not quite as well defined. Anker Soundcore Life P2 vs Liberty 2 Pro

Anker Soundcore Life P2 earbuds have very good music sound quality that outperforms its price range. With its Bass Up technology, they produce roughly 43% more low-end than the standard pair of earbuds. It is a great choice for anyone who prefers more bass! But the audio quality is lacking for a podcast, videos, and audiobooks. The audio quality for best phone calls on both ends is exceptional.

With powerful drivers, these Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro earbuds produce full and clear sound quality. These earbuds are bass-heavy for those who prefer it that way. Although the bass is rocking, it does not get boomy. It has a large sound stage as well for a great sound.

Apple Airpods vs Anker Soundcore Life P2

The Apple AirPods provide the best sound quality true wireless earbuds are able to offer. All of the frequencies are balanced while maintaining a fair amount of unique separation. All the instruments are heard leaving nothing out in the end. The bass response is full and punchy, also the mids are rich, and the highs are right. Even at max volumes, you won’t hear any distortion or harsh frequencies because they have active noise cancellation

The Soundcore Life P2 true wireless earbuds sport a comfy design, also strong Bluetooth performance, decent audio chops, and enough quality-of-life features to make a good first impression. But the Soundcore Life P2 earbuds lack originality, also they make up for with comfort and utility. Each of the earbuds is feather-light and also has a snug fit, helped by the inclusion of several silicon tips in different sizes.

Anker SoundCore Life P2 vs Liberty Neo

A much cheaper alternative to the Life P2 is the Anker SoundCore Liberty Neo earbud which follows Anker’s high-value, low-cost philosophy without causing ear pain when operating the tactile controls. This Liberty Neo forgoes the stemmed look, instead opting for a more traditional true wireless earbud shape. Like the Life P2, the Neo earbuds support noise cancellation.

They protrude quite a bit from the ear, which proved annoying when wearing a beanie, but their fit is excellent. Sounds were filtered out, thanks to the strong seal created by the buds. The Liberty Neo is also more durable than the more expensive Life P2, and received an official IPX7 rating.

What are the properties of Anker Soundcore Life P2?

Are these Earbuds good for working out?

The earbuds stay in the ear well enough for general cardio like running but may fall out of your ears with more vigorous movement like jumping jacks. The stems can catch your towel as you wipe the sweat away. If you are weightlifting or taking a stroll around the block, the earbuds should stay in fine condition.

Despite the cheap feel of the Anker SoundCore Life P2, they are rather durable and can be submerged for up to 30 minutes. Onboard storage is not available, though, so the earphones cannot actually be for swimming purposes.

How to pair these Anker Soundcore Life P2 Earbuds?

To initiate the connection process, remove the Life P2 earbuds from the case and wait for the LED indicators at the bottom of the stems to flash white. After that open the Bluetooth menu on your desired source device and scan for a new Bluetooth device. Select the “Anker SoundCore Life P2” and also allow it to pair with your smartphone. Setup should take a few seconds and you are ready to rock and roll with the earbuds.

The Life P2 true wireless earbuds doesn’t support multipoint connectivity, so you have to switch between a smartphone, laptop, and tablet. Disconnect it from the primary device and connect it to the secondary one. It is an extra step but not a huge deal. For anyone who views multipoint connectivity as a necessity, you will have to look at Jabra’s wireless earbud lineup.

What is the battery life of Life P2 Earbuds?

The Life P2 wireless earbuds hold out for 6 hours, 41 minutes until the batteries tap out and outlast the original Anker SoundCore Liberty Air. If you are in a pinch, you can always rely on quick charging to provide an hour of playback after 10 minutes of charging.

The chunky USB-C case provides an extra 4.7 charge cycles for listening. With this great capacity, it would be neat to see dual-charging capabilities like the JLab Epic Air Sport.

Does Life P2 have Active Noise Cancellation?

Noise Isolation is not so great. The earbuds do anything to filter out external noise. Bass notes fall to the wayside once background noise makes its way through the earbud barrier. If you plan to take these on your commute, you will benefit from a pair of memory foam ear tips. Anker does not include that here as it does with the SoundCore Liberty Air, though, so you’ll have to buy your own.

Anker Soundcore life P2 for Making Phone Calls

Despite the impressive surroundings of the four-microphone array, mic quality isn’t very good. Low-frequency notes are de-emphasized to the detriment of clarity. We’ve seen other more adept mic systems do this in order to combat the proximity effect, but in the case of the Anker SoundCore Life P2, it results in poor voice quality. Anyone who uses the headset will sound “off.” I wouldn’t recommend it for professional use unless it’s a very brief call, but you can decide for yourself if it will suit your needs.
